October 2022 shall go down in history I think! Today is October 15th, and I have had 12 days kiting, most of them outstanding days! Warm and windy; I keep thinking it's over but it never is. Admittedly, it's helped on several occasions to have a boat; I've had great sessions at the east end of Rooster when the sensor and forecast showed crap. I did get skunked on one day, but still.
I just don't recall any other October in 19 years of kiting being anywhere near this exceptional. Life is good. I hope you all are enjoying this bounty as well.

| and I have saved a fortune in gas money by just driving to Stevenson for easterlies instead of Rufus or Arlington for west winds in October.

I've been around to hit Rooster for the last 8 years, not OG, but I can definitely agree this his been the most consistent in my time. Nuking last weekend and week after week of 10m (for a big guy like me and my twin tip) since early September...definitely stoked
