Last year I recommended this bag, however it proved not to be durable in use. Maybe if you kept bag weight under 50 pounds? (I loaded it to 65 pounds.) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005N26DLK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
I found a much more durable bag, and much more expensive. I loaded it for my first trip to Baja at 62 pounds and it performed like a champ. It's built way better. A Hopecraft 103 fits perfect with thick pipe insulation protecting the board's edges. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NCKSPYG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here is the same bag in a bigger size; it should fit a 110cm or maybe even a 120cm board. (And is wide enough to fit a Triton T1 mono-wing...) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092SZNFGG/ref=emc_b_5_t
These hockey bags are WAY easier to travel with over a golf bag. Easier to roll and mine doesn't even go through oversize bag handling! (I don't know if the next larger size would avoid oversize...) Plus, a hard back waist harnesses fits in these so much better than a golf bag or other luggage. Added bonus: it fit's in the back seat of our car! Skip the golf bag if you're foiling. |
