anybody going anyplace to kite this winter?
We just got back fr Ventura. I was surprised at how many windy days there were. It was more of a surf/sun trip. I would probably choose to hit baja this far into winter instead of returning to ventura.
Looking for some warm weather & wind day dreaming material |

I got back from Baja 1.5 weeks ago and headed back in 1.5 weeks. Then into surgery to correct tendon issues in my left hand that were driven by a slow motion kitemare last June. Hopefully, I'll be OK for a trip back to Baja in March, but recovery is going to be between 4 weeks and a year long.
Weird kiting with a claw for a left hand, LOL. I had to wrap my bar with thick bike bar tape to get it big enough where I can grab it with my left hand. There's a lot I can't do yet, but it's still fun to kite somewhere warm! |

Hey NAK,
Best of luck with the FIX and recovery - only you could kite single handed - lol
MEXICO
can't get there soon enough 10 days mid-JAN then again April and May
Seems like the winter kite days have been far and few this year.

I'm planning a trip to Maui, but not until May which I guess is after winter. I've never been so I'm psyched. Until then it's just regular trips to Mt Hood Meadows. _________________ JackAubrey |
